This summer, spend your Tuesday evenings immersed in the timeless game of Mahjong, hosted in the elegant upstairs space at Prelude Austin. Whether you're new to the game or seeking a stylish refresher, Mahjong 101 offers an engaging and thoughtfully curated introduction to this classic pastime.

– A two-hour, instructor-led American Mahjong lesson presented by Austin Mahjong Social
– A chef-curated charcuterie and cheese selection to enjoy during the session
– A handcrafted Champagne Margarita upon arrival

– Full use of Mahjong sets, including NMJL cards, racks, mats, and tiles

The class will begin with a brief history of Mahjong, an overview of tile suits, instruction on how to read the National Mahjong League card, and a guided introduction to the rules of play. Guests will conclude the evening by diving into a game.
